Raw materials for bow building

These elk leg sinews are dried and ready to be processed into bow backing. They are all the larger ones from the back of the leg. Although they take a little more work to process than back sinew, elk leg sinew is my favorite for bow backing. They are sold by the 10 count. I'll make sure 10- 10-12" sinews weighs 10+ ounces and the 12-14" weigh 12+ oz. This should be enough for 3 to 5 bows depending on how thick you like your backing. The smaller scraps left over can be made into glue.
